Provides the necessary training to apply for the District of Columbia’s or Maryland's permit to carry a handgun: the “Wear & Carry Permit”. Students will receive the required 16 hours of instruction on basic firearms operation, safety, District of Columbia or Maryland law, and must demonstrate the ability to fire a handgun safely with 70% accuracy during a 50-shot (DC) or 25-shot (MD) qualification course.

Students have the option to pay a $100 upgrade fee to include training certificates for Maryland, District of Columbia, Florida, and Virginia. This does not require any additional classroom instruction or range time.
